Teen Volunteer Opportunities at Crete Public Library District

Volunteering at the Library gives you the opportunity to give back to your community.

For Grades 6–12

Scheduled

    • Teen Volunteer Thursday
      Meets at the Library on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 3-5 PM.
      Each session = 2 service hours.
      Middle and High Schoolers will earn hours for their school community service requirements while making something for others or the Library. Registration is required.

On Demand

Read up to 5 books and earn 2 service hours for each book from the Recommended Reading List and write a paragraph review for each. Submit your reviews to Cassandra O’Connell at coconell@cretelibrary.org. Limit of 5 submissions.

Available year round
Each video = 1 service hour. Limit of 3 submissions.
