Will County provides limited electronics recycling at various locations throughout the county, as noted on the Will County Green website.
Book Recycling
Will County Green and the Will County Land Use Dept., Resource Recovery and Energy Division, sponsor an annual Book Recycling Event each spring at Pilcher Park Nature Center, 2501 Highland Park Dr., Joliet.

Additional Items
The Library also provides the community with a safe and easy place to recycle certain other items. At this time the Library accepts the following items for recycling:
- Eyeglasses
- Rechargeable Batteries
- Cellphones
These items can be dropped off at the Patron Services desk.
Please note, while the Library has accepted all batteries in the past, most batteries are no longer recyclable. Patrons can try calling the Crete Lions Club Recycling Center to verify what batteries and other items they accept.
