Digital Collection

The Library currently offers four different services that allow patrons to download digital items (ebooks, digital magazines, downloadable audiobooks, music, and digital movies) to their computers or devices, and we are always adding to our digital offerings.

All services are available to Crete Public Library cardholders in good standing.

Assistance with using each of these services is available by calling the Library at 708-672-8017 or viewing the support documents below. Book-a-Librarian appointments are available for additional assistance.

Digital Library of Illinois (Overdrive)

With OverDrive, you can borrow and enjoy free ebooks, audiobooks, magazines, and more from the library’s online collection called Digital Library of Illinois. You can download ebooks, audiobooks, and digital magazines straight to any smart device, including your desktop/laptop computer. Login with your Crete Public Library card and your 4 digit PIN. If you don’t know your PIN, try the last four digits of your phone number or call the library at 708-672-8017.
