The library currently offers three different services that allow patrons to download digital items (ebooks, downloadable audiobooks, and digital movies) to their computers or devices, and we are always adding to our digital offerings. All services are available to Crete Public Library cardholders. Assistance with using each of these services is available by calling the library at 708-672-8017 or viewing the support documents below. Ebooks & Audiobooks
Digital Library of Illinois (Overdrive)
With OverDrive, you can borrow and enjoy free ebooks, audiobooks, and more from the library’s online collection called Digital Library of Illinois. You can download ebooks and audiobooks straight to any smart device, including your desktop/laptop computer. Login with your Crete Public Library card and your 4 digit PIN. If you don’t know your PIN, try the last four digits of your phone number or call the library at 708-672-8017.
Axis360/eRead Illinois (Powered by Baker & Taylor)
Axis360 gives you access to more than 10,000 titles, many of which are unavailable elsewhere and/or are available sooner than you might find from other services. You can download ebooks and audiobooks straight to any smart device, including your desktop/laptop computer.

The library is proud to offer a new way to enjoy FREE movies, documentaries, and TV shows. With Kanopy, Crete Public Library cardholders can stream digital movies to any smart device.
