Washington Township Dial-A-Ride Program
Free transportation to Washington Township and Crete Township residents 60 years of age and older to and from local businesses, homes of friends and relatives, medical centers, public buildings, community events and more.
Call to schedule a ride. 24-48 hour notice required.

Free civil legal assistance to low income and senior citizen residents of Will County provided by full-time pro bono attorneys and active volunteer attorneys.

Home Delivered Meals from the Senior Services Center of Will County
Home delivered meals are available Monday through Friday for seniors age 60 or over who are frail and/or homebound. Seniors are expected to contribute a fair share toward the cost of their meals, though the program does not turn away those who cannot pay.

Congregate meals are available to Will County seniors age 60 and over at numerous dining centers throughout the county. Seniors are encouraged to contribute a fair monetary share for using this service, but will not be turned away due to an inability to pay.

Free Income Tax Return Preparation
Free tax information and tax return preparation for seniors, age 60 and older, provided by Volunteer Income Tax Assistance.

Illinois Circuit Breaker Program
Illinois Department on Aging has announced 2013 benefit changes.
Effective July 1, 2012, Illinois Cares RX was terminated and the Circuit Breaker Property Tax Relief Grant was eliminated due to the lack of funding.
The benefits now available are:
- Seniors Free Transit Ride
- The Persons with Disabilities Free Transit Ride
- Secretary of State License Plate Discount
