Visiting the Library
Before you visit us, please make sure to read our Unattended Children Policy. We welcome children of all ages to our department and have a wide variety of fun things to do! You can view and sign up for youth programs online by visiting our Crete Library Children’s Programs Calendar. Most of our programs require sign up and space may be limited!
Bring your infant (24 months or younger) for a visit too. We offer new Crete parents a free baby board book along with a bag filled with information about early literacy. Learn how you can make a huge difference in your child’s reading ability from this early age.
We also have two Early Literary AWE Stations for little ones to enjoy and play with!
Helpful Parent Resource Links
We have compiled some helpful information and resources for homeschooling, supplements for public / private schooling, list of local schools, daycares and some early literary resources. Please note, these resource links may take you outside of the libraries website. We have no control over the content of the sites.
