Registering to Vote
The Crete Public Library is pleased to offer voter registration services most days from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and some evenings and weekends. Please call for availability of a deputy voter registrar during evening or weekend hours.
You can register if you are:
- A U.S. citizen
- 18 years old by the date of the next election
- Residing at your current address for 30 days prior to the election.
To register, you will need:
- Two forms of ID; one must have your legal name, address, and proof of age.
These may include: driver’s license, state ID, utility bill, checkbook, library card, credit card, birth certificate, Social Security card, employee ID, student ID, insurance card.
