Crete Library Foundation

The Crete Library Foundation was established in April 1994 as a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) corporation to support the Crete Public Library with private funds. The mission of the Foundation is to seek out and develop sources of funding to enhance the Library facility and provide materials that will expand and enrich the Library's resources.

A Board of Directors that includes community volunteers, Library Trustees and the Administrative Librarian, manages the Foundation's business and affairs. The Foundation Directors are responsible for fund-raising activities and for the distribution of all acquired financial contributions to benefit the Library.
