The Board of Library Trustees oversees the operation of the library; establishes and revises policies, advises and approves budgets and promotes library services. Trustees are elected to four-year terms every two years at the regular election scheduled for trustees of public library districts under the Election Code (10 ILCS 5/1-1).
Meeting Notification: The Board Meeting originally scheduled for Wednesday, October 19 at 7:00pm has been changed to Wednesday October 12 at 6:30pm. It will be followed by a Trustee Focus Group and Planning Session at 7:30pm.

The Board of Library Trustees meets the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the library. Meetings are open to the public. Contact the Board President at cpldpresident@sslic.net or call the library at (708) 672-8017.
