A list of non-profit organizations and agencies of the South Suburban Chicago Area

The Community Organization Guide (COG) is designed to list non-profit organizations and agencies of the South Suburban Chicago area, which offer services and programs to the general public. The COG provides access to information about more than 600 community organizations and educational, cultural, recreational and social service agencies which provide a wide array of support and assistance to people of all ages and interests.

The Community Organization Guide is an ongoing project of the Reference Association of South Suburban Libraries (RASSL). Reference librarians from participating libraries gather the information included in the COG by sending a request for information to each organization. The information listed represents the organization's self-description. Inclusion of an organization or agency in the COG does not imply endorsement by RASSL or the participating libraries, nor are exclusions purposeful. No attempt has been made to review the quality of any of the organizations or their programs.

Representatives of organizations that have not been included should contact their local library.
